How long it takes: Partial front is typically one day. Full front is usually two days. Full-body coverage takes several days and is quoted per vehicle.
Aftercare
Leave the film alone for the first week while any installation moisture clears — small haze pockets under the film are normal and disappear as it cures. After that, wash as usual and avoid pressure-washing directly into film edges at close range. Light swirls in the film top coat self-heal with warm water or sunlight.

Paint Protection Film FAQs
Quality film is optically clear, and on wrapped edges there is no visible line at all. Where a panel cannot be wrapped, there is a fine edge that is visible up close under direct light but is not noticeable at normal viewing distance.
The film's top coat is elastomeric. Light swirls and fine scratches in the film — not in your paint — relax back flat when warmed by sunlight or warm water. It does not repair a deep cut that has gone through the film.
They solve different problems. PPF stops physical impact damage on the panels it covers. Ceramic coating adds gloss, chemical resistance and easier cleaning across the whole vehicle. Neither replaces the other, and many Edmonton clients run PPF on the front end with a coating over everything.
Yes. Professionally installed film on healthy factory paint is removed with heat and comes off without taking paint with it. Film that has been left far beyond its service life is harder to remove, which is why we recommend replacing it rather than letting it degrade.
It depends on the paint. Film is clear, so it locks in whatever is beneath it. If the paint has swirls or existing chips, we recommend paint correction first, then film — otherwise you are preserving the defects.
